At a private party, the guests mainly want to chat, so the music should not be too loud.
Kalinka Ensemble has understood this perfectly: they play without amplification whenever possible.
The warm atmosphere of pure acoustic music cannot be compared to electronically amplified music.
Mobile musicians
Kalinka can be deployed as a mobile orchestra.
The musicians like to move among the guests, they play or sing suitable melodies for everybody, anticipating the wishes of each individual, because most of the requested music is part of the very extensive standard repertoire of Kalinka Ensemble.
During your banquet or dinner your guests will have the opportunity to request their favorite tune while the orchestra moves from table to table.
The banquet passes in a relaxed atmosphere of Russian ambiance.
Instruments
The complete group is a quartet, consisting of violin, accordion, guitar and double bass.
Kalinka can also be booked as a trio.
In some circumstances, even a duo line-up can be considered.
